Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitri Soloviev’s Mack the Knife costumes at the 2008 Skate Canada. These costumes are quite messy but I actually love them. I think the colour scheme is so restrained that it balances out the crazy.

All the Russian ice dancers wore black for the short dance at the 2012 World Championships. All the ladies had nude backs too.

The costumes were fine for the Rhumba pattern dance, but for the more upbeat sections of their Latin dances the black was much too sombre.
