Adam Rippon’s short program costume at the 2012 Cup of China. Normally when people skate to Nessun Dorma they like costumes as resplendent as the music, but Rippon is looking very slick!

Shizuka Arakawa’s Turandot costume for the 2003-2004 season. It started off (top left, 2003 Grand Prix Final) with much less bling than it had by the time of the 2004 World Championships. Another thing to note is how interesting and elegant the back is, although the skirt was a little too short.
